This Privacy Policy explains how Anchor USA, Inc. (“Anchor USA,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit purposebuiltusa.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it. It covers this Site only. Work we do for clients is governed by the separate written agreement for that engagement.
Information you choose to give us
The only place the Site collects personal information is the contact form on our Contact page. It asks for:
- Your name (required)
- Your email address (required)
- Your phone number (optional)
- Your message (required)
If you email or call us directly, we receive whatever information you include, such as your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us to respond to your inquiry, to discuss and schedule a consultation, and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How contact form submissions are handled
When you submit the contact form, your submission is saved in our website’s database, where only authorized members of our team can see it, and it may also be sent to our team by email so we can reply. Your IP address and browser details are not saved with your submission. The form uses a hidden field to filter out spam; we do not use a third-party CAPTCHA service.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not set cookies for ordinary visitors. WordPress, the software that runs the Site, uses essential cookies only for authorized administrators who sign in to manage it.
While you browse, your browser may keep one small temporary value in its session storage that WordPress uses to check whether your browser can display emoji. It contains no personal information, stays on your device and is cleared when you close the browser tab.
No analytics or advertising tracking
We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service, advertising pixels, or social media tracking on the Site.
Third-party services used by the Site
To display the Site, your browser connects to a small number of outside services. Each one receives your IP address and standard browser information as part of that connection, and handles it under its own privacy policy:
- Google Fonts. The Site’s typefaces are loaded from Google’s font servers. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- OpenStreetMap. The map on our Contact page loads its map images from the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s tile servers. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.
- WordPress.org emoji images. Only if your browser cannot display emoji on its own, WordPress may load emoji images from WordPress.org. See the WordPress.org Privacy Policy.
Hosting, server logs and caching
The Site and our business email are hosted by Namecheap, Inc. Like most web servers, our host’s servers automatically record standard technical information for each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time, for security and to keep the Site running. See the Namecheap Privacy Policy.
The Site uses LiteSpeed caching on our host’s server so pages load faster. The cache stores copies of the public pages every visitor sees; it does not store personal information about you.
When we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as our hosting and email provider, and only so they can provide that service to us; when the law requires it; or to protect our rights, our clients or the public. If our business is ever sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner under the same protections described here.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries and correspondence for as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, and then delete or anonymize them.
How we protect information
The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to form submissions is limited to authorized members of our team. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive information through the contact form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it by emailing info@purposebuiltusa.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under the laws of your state, and we will honor requests as those laws require.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
The Site may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites, so please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
